This page says which data patinel.com processes, why and for how long.

Who is responsible

OOGI BV, Steenweg op Merchtem 65, 1780 Wemmel, Belgium, company number 1014.407.291, is responsible for the processing of data on patinel.com.

If you request a demo

We keep your name, the name of your business, your e-mail address, your phone number if you give it, the number of shops, the language and your message. We use them only to arrange the demo with you, at your request. Your request reaches us by e-mail. With your request we also keep the day code from the visit statistics (see below), so we see which pages you viewed that day before your request. We keep the data until that contact is complete and at most 13 months.

If you want to be kept informed about a part

We keep your e-mail address, the parts you chose, the language of the page, the country and the day code from the visit statistics, so we see which pages you viewed that day before signing up. We use them only to e-mail you once when such a part is there, and we keep them until that e-mail is sent and at most 24 months. To leave the list earlier, e-mail us.

Visit statistics

We count visits with our own statistics, without third-party statistics services and without cookies or any other storage in your browser to count you. For each event (a page, a section coming into view, a click on a link within the site, a language switch, the demo form, how far you scroll) we keep: the page, the language, the referring website (the domain name only), campaign parameters in the link (utm), the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer, from the screen width), the country and the time. We keep no IP address. To count unique visitors per day we compute a code from your IP address, your browser, the date and a random key that is replaced and erased every day. That code does not link two days and cannot by itself be traced back to you; it is kept with your request only if you request a demo or sign up that day. If your browser sends the "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we do not count you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing what interests visitors. Statistics are erased after 13 months. The only cookie (patinel_lang) is set when you choose a language yourself: it holds only that language, so the home page opens in your language afterwards, and expires after a year.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the website and the database, in the EU. The e-mail with your demo request or sign-up is sent through Resend. We share your data with no one else, do not use it for advertising and do not sell it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, and to object. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
