Security

A jeweller works with value, with trust and with several people at the counter. Patinel is built to carry that: who may do what is set; what happens is recorded; what has been issued never changes.

  1. A role per shop.

    Every member of staff has a role per shop that sets what they may do: sell, cancel, refund, see cost prices. The management sees the whole.

  2. Two-factor authentication (2FA).

    A password and a code from the phone. After a while without activity a device is signed out automatically, and you can sign any device out remotely.

  3. Every change in the log.

    Every change to a sale, a customer, a piece or a repair is in the log, with the old and the new value, who and when.

  4. Invoices that never change.

    Continuous numbering per company. An issued invoice or credit note is never altered; Patinel can prove per series that the chain is intact.

  5. Your own installation.

    Patinel runs separately for every client, with its own database. Only your business is in your data.

  6. Your data in the EU.

    Database and files stay within the European Union.

  7. Your data stays yours.

    If you leave, you take all of it with you in an open format.
